The Basotho Educational Trust is a Christian, UK-based charity that provides grants for young men and women in Lesotho to study vocational subjects within their own country.
Lesotho is one of the poorest countries in the world. Free education is not available, so many talented young people are unable to reach their potential and start to contribute to the country’s economy. That’s why, with your help, we are enabling them to get an education and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and for their country, providing the with practical skills such as carpentry, building, electrical work, dressmaking/tailoring, IT and catering.
